Youth Voice

Our work is directed by a combination of school careers leaders, employers, training organisations and most importantly, the young people themselves. Work is done to capture the voice of young people upon conclusion of each programme and/or event to determine delivery is attuned to individual and group needs. Work takes place:

At the start of each academic year
After each programme is concluded
In 'Youth Voice Days,' to get idea generation from young people for new programme delivery, as well as creating ideas for the charity's marketing

All contributions towards the charity's work from young people receive certification, acknowledgement of their work when it is delivered and the chance to work closely with EBP Kent's team.

Example work from a 'Youth Voice' day. This particular work was used to inform a new type of primary school outreach, designed and delivered by sixth form students, to inspire and inform primary aged children on potential careers in an interactive, engaging way. 50 sixth form students took part in the overall process

These days aren't just about the delivery programmes, they look at the messaging too. How the charity can be better in its messaging to young people, for recruiting more employer volunteers and ensuring its work is as visible as possible to an ever growing audience. This particular piece of work is getting young people to look at the charity's marketing and re-design from their point of view
