EMPLOYABILITY PROGRAMME
The Employability Programme is a 4-14 week process (depending on timetable restrictions) for SEND/PRU/Young Refugees to introduce them to the job application process, providing them guidance to successfully interview, create CVs, promote and develop transferable skills, and finally, come into contact with employers through workplace visits and workshops.
3 Stage Programme
The programme is broken down into 3 stages: Transferable Skills development, the Job Application process and meet the employers (through visits, talks and workshops)
Developed with You
This is a programme that is designed with the school, parents and/or carers, to ensure minimal disruption to curriculum needs, but also to ensure pitch, content and length of time is exactly right for your young people
Employers
As with all our programmes that involve employers, we encourage links to be made between school staff and employers. Workplace visits can lead to further experiences further on down the line as well as the offer of part time work or further training
