SEND SPECIALIST DAYS
Supporting Key Stages 3/4/5, these events are designed to support SEND young people, providing them with the confidence to navigate job applications and to feel comfortable with meeting new employers. Similar to our Employability Days, the event sees groups of students navigating a series of different zones, such as Interview Techniques and Talkshops
Guided Support
Students are guided around the event by EBP event staff, to ensure the experience is as relaxed as possible. Our team become human maps, ensuring each young person knows exactly where their next workshop is
Employability
The ultimate aim of the event is to support the employment journey of these young people. By experiencing specially designed workshops and coming into contact with a range of employers, each student should feel confident in approaching the next stages of their career aspirations
Learning Resources
Should each school wish, learning resources from the workshops can be shared so that subsequent years can receive the same messaging and support. Similarly, employer links can be made at the event to further support other curriculum needs and requirements
